Our wonderful Nursery provision is open to children from 3 years old.

Our facilities include a 26 place Nursery with direct access to our secure EYFS outdoor provision. All our staff are fully qualified to a minimum of Level 3 and are experienced in working within early years. We also have an EYFS Teacher working directly with the children.

Our Curriculum
Here at Blackpool Gateway Academy we pride ourselves on delivering a creative and engaging curriculum that is accessible to all children. We use Development Matters to track children's progress.
The Early Years curriculum has 7 areas of development and this is split up into two sections, prime areas and specific areas of learning.
The three PRIME areas are:
• Communication and Language
• Physical Development
• Personal, Social and Emotional Development
The four SPECIFIC areas are:
• Literacy
• Numeracy
• Understanding the World
• Expressive Arts and Design

Nursery Sessions are:
Core Hours
Mornings: 8.45am - 11.45am
Afternoons: 12.15pm - 3.15pm
Full days: 8.45am – 3.15pm
Extended Sessions (limited places)
7.45am – 8.45am
3.15pm – 5.30pm
Term Time Only
Nursery Fees
£4.00 an hour
These must be booked in a minimum of 3 hour sessions. We also recommend that children attend a minimum of three separate sessions a week.
The top up option is available subject to terms and conditions only.
The £4 charge will be if you require additional hours to you free entitlement hours.
