Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

Blackpool Gateway Academy values the abilities and achievements of all of its pupils, and is committed to providing for each pupil the best possible environment for learning. We recognise the entitlement of all pupils to a balanced, broadly based curriculum. Our SEND policy reinforces the need for teaching that is fully inclusive. The Inclusion Team and Governing Body will ensure that appropriate provision will be made for all pupils with SEND. At Blackpool Gateway Academy we are developing a SEND team.

Disabled Access is available at the main entrance of school. Disabled parking is available at the side of school, via the main staff car park, and disabled toilet facilities are available on the upper and lower level. A lift is also available.
